City, county offices closed July 4th

The offices at Elizabethton City Hall and the Carter County Courthouse will be closed Monday, July 4th.
Because of the closing, the garbage collection schedule in the city has been altered. Monday through Thursday will be collected one day late with Thursday and Friday collected on Friday.
The Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library will be closed Monday as will the Elizabethton Senior Center.
Also, all state and federal offices will be closed. All post offices will be closed with no mail deliveries on Monday.
