Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will host a live concert featuring The Cadillacs and Matt Dollar. Also performing will be Misty Venett with A Tribute to The Ladies of Country Music. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Hot dogs with homemade chili, Debbie cakes, chips and drinks will be available upon request. For more information, call (276) 466-0026.
The Roan Mountain Summer Concert Series will feature Roan Mountain Rain from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Community Park (behind the post office), Roan Mountain. This amazing group has it all with an eclectic mix of Old-Time, Roots, Gospel, a little Bluegrass and a wonderful blend of Contemporary Folk music. Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair, spread a blanket, and pack a picnic. Please come and enjoy an evening on the Roan.
