Police seek assistance in identifying individuals in recent auto burglaries

The Elizabethton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in burglaries of unlocked vehicles.
According to investigators, the individuals were captured on video in the area of Monument Place at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday and again on Southside Road at approximately 2 a.m.
It is believed that four to five individuals were walking in neighborhoods checking for unlocked vehicles and taking personal property. The individuals were wearing hoodies and traveling in a dark colored four door sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Geo Prism.
