Bucs lose first road test of the season

ETSU give up two first-half goals and two late second half goals
 LYNCHBURG, Va. – In a Sunday afternoon matchup, the ETSU women’s soccer team traveled to Lynchburg, Va. to face Liberty for their first road game of the season. Facing the ASUN Conference opponent, ETSU gave up two first-half and two second-half goals to end in a 4-0 loss.
SCORING 
• Rachel DeRuby scored a goal from outside the box in the fifth minute for Liberty.
• Annie Slovak scored a goal inside the box in the 22nd minute for Liberty.
• McKinley Burkett scored a penalty in the 84th minute for the Lady Flames.
• Grace Spade scored the final goal for Liberty in the 88th minute.
• The Lady Flames scored in the opening minutes of the game and applied the pressure early for ETSU.
• Halfway through the first half Liberty found the back of the net for the second time in the 22nd minute.
• ETSU goalkeeper, Ashton Blair (Knoxville, Tenn.) recorded six saves in the first half.
• Liberty scored two goals late in the second half in the matter of six minutes.
• The Bucs recorded a total of four corners in the match.
• Ashton Blair (Knoxville, Tenn.) had a total of nine saves on 23 total shots by Liberty.
• Once again, defender Sydney Somogyi (Germantown, Tenn.) was the only field player to play all 90 minutes for the Bucs.
