Kids enjoy an evening of fun at Carter County Sheriff’s Department

Trick-or-treaters invade the Carter County Sheriff’s Department parking lot on Halloween night.
Thousands of adults and kids made their way to the Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Halloween night, for candy, popcorn, face painting and a variety of other activities. The event lasted from 4 to 6 p.m. at 900 E. Elk Ave. The treaters were welcomed by members of the Sheriff’s Department; Tennessee Highway Patrol; Patty Woodby, Mayor of Carter County; 911 operators; Rescue Squad and etc. Star Correspondent Brandon Hyde was there to capture the event.
