Lady Rangers drop non-conference game to Patriots

Unaka traveled to Bluff City on Saturday night for a non-conference game against Sullivan East. The Lady Rangers would keep the game close in the first period trailing by four, 12-8 but could not keep pace with the larger school losing by 16 points, 66-50. East would outscore Unaka 17-8 in the second to take a 13-point lead, 29-16. Lyndie Ramsey would once again lead the Lady Rangers on the night, pitching in 25 points, followed by Haley Taylor with nine. Jenna Hare would lead East with 35 points. With the loss, Unaka drops to 6-14 on the season and East raises their record to 7-15. Unaka will travel to Johnson County tonight to take on the Longhorns in a non-conference game.
