Overtime game highlights day two of Bill Oliver Tournament

On day two of Carter County Youth Basketball League’s Annual Bill Oliver Tournament, the night ended with an overtime game at Valley Forge Elementary. On Tuesday night, Central PW 1 hit a shot with eleven seconds to send the game into overtime and pull out a one-point victory over Valley Forge PW 2. The two teams will face off on Saturday for the championship. In the Jr. Cadet game, Little Milligan 1 would top Central 1 to advance to a Thursday night showdown against Valley Forge 1 for a chance to play in the finals. In semi-final action, Bulldog Cadet 2 opened up a lead and held off a comeback by Little Milligan Cadet 1 to advance to the championship game on Saturday.
Star Photographer Tyler Scalf was present at Valley Forge Elementary School to share tournament action with Star readers. Games will continue at Valley Forge on Thursday, with the championship games Saturday at Keenburg Elementary School.
