The Licensed Practical Nurse program at TCAT Elizabethton has celebrated a passage rate in the 90-percentile range for the past several years. According to Renee Hensley, RN (Nursing Director), the last three quarters for NCLEX first time pass rates were 100%, 100%, and the last quarter was 95%. The Licensed Practical Nurse program at TCAT Elizabethton takes 12 months to complete and prepares students for the Tennessee exam to become licensed practical nurses. All teachers in the Licensed Practical Nurse program are registered nurses.
