The Carter County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for assistance in locating a local man who has been reported missing.
David Paul Pierce was reported missing by his family to Carter County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Thursday, August 17. According to authorities, Pierce’s last sighting was near the Dollar General Store on Highway 19E close to Simerly Creek Road on August 10, approximately 9 p.m.
Pierce, 56 years old, is characterized by brown hair and hazel eyes. He stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches and has an estimated weight of 165 pounds.
