Carter County Schools is celebrating a remarkable achievement in the realm of education, as it proudly earns a coveted TVAAS Level 5 Distinction for the 2022-23 school year.
The Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS) is a robust tool for measuring students’ academic growth over time. It empowers educators to pinpoint best practices, tailor programs to meet students’ unique needs, and make informed decisions on resource allocation to foster growth opportunities for all learners.
Furthermore, Carter County Schools is thrilled to spotlight three of its institutions that have earned individual TVAAS Level 5 School Distinctions for the same academic year:
* Happy Valley Middle School
* Hunter Elementary
* Little Milligan Elementary
Director of Schools, Dr. Brandon Carpenter, expressed his appreciation, stating, “The Level 5 achievement is evidence of Carter County School’s commitment to providing our students an educational experience second to none.
