The Tennessee Tiered Supports Center (TSC), in collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Education, has proudly announced that Carter County Schools has been awarded the prestigious RTI2-A + RTI2-B District Model of Demonstration: 2022-2023 Groundbreakers Award.

This coveted recognition celebrates outstanding school districts in Tennessee that have exhibited exceptional dedication to aligning their academic and non-academic tiered support systems during the 2022-2023 academic year, in partnership with Tennessee TSC.

Tennessee TSC, a staunch advocate for continuous improvement in Leadership, Data-Based Decision Making, Assessment, and Instruction and Intervention, has commended Carter County Schools for its innovative efforts. The RTI2-A + RTI2-B Groundbreakers Award acknowledges the district’s pioneering initiatives, strategic planning, insightful decision-making, and diligent work in harmonizing their tiered frameworks.

Carter County Schools’ achievement is a result of rigorous self-assessment, meticulous action planning, and comprehensive district-wide professional development.
