This Saturday’s Covered Bridge Jams Concert promises a musical treat as the Lost Creek Bluegrass Band takes the stage. The band, whose roots trace back to the 1970s when it was founded by two cousins, has not only garnered a dedicated fan base but also had the privilege of sharing their music worldwide.

The band’s lineup boasts exceptional talent, including Ed Stiner on guitar and vocals, Rick Fielden on mandolin and fiddle, Phil Clear on percussion and vocals, Rick Flynn on banjo and dobro, and Tim Carpenter on bass and vocals. Lost Creek Bluegrass Band is eagerly anticipating their performance in Elizabethton.

Over the years, Lost Creek has released seven albums, with four of them clinching the Album of the Year title from the North America Country Music Association. Their musical journey has even taken them on two cruise ship performances. Collaborating with legendary artists like Paul Williams, Doyle Lawson, Jim and Jessie McReynolds, The Osborne Brothers, Quicksilver, and Kentucky Thunder has enriched their musical experience.

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation, in partnership with sponsors such as Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, Carter County Tourism, Northeast Community Credit Union, Carter County Parks & Recreation Board, Elizabethton Star, Eastman Credit Union, and WBEJ Radio, is proud to bring this free concert series to the community.

Recreation Manager David Nanney expressed his excitement, stating, “These guys put on a great show, and we are delighted to bring this great band to Elizabethton and to our Covered Bridge Stage.”
