Elizabethton 47, Sullivan East 0
It was supposed to be the Air Fisher show at Sullivan East when the Elizabethton Cyclones invaded Bluff City on Friday night but instead Air Fisher crashed and burned while the Cyclones were the ones filling the airways as the Cyclones rolled to a 47-0 victory.
Cyclone sophomore quarterback Rhett Slagle had his radar dialed in as the signal caller completed 14-of-17 passes for 246 yards and four scores to lead the way for Coach Shawn Witten’s team.
While the passing game was flourishing for the Cyclones, the ground game showed plenty of pop, led by Zeth Mullins, who toted the ball eight times for 112 yards and a score. Eli Blevins was the main man on the receiving end of Slagle’s passes, hauling in five catches for 130 yards and a score. Jeriah Griffin added six receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
Drake Fisher, who was averaging 300 yards per game passing for East, finished 13-of-33 for 94 yards and three interceptions.

Happy Valley 35, Unaka 0

Happy Valley wasted no time asserting their dominance, scoring on their very first drive. They then capitalized on two intercepted passes, converting them into 14 additional points. With an added touchdown just before halftime, the Warriors found themselves comfortably ahead with a commanding 28-0 lead.
