FROM STAFF REPORTS
The spirit of giving is alive and well in Carter County, as Factory Connection has once again extended its generosity to support local schools. Factory Connection recently donated clothing and shoes to the Carter County Schools Family Resource Center, which operates a clothing closet catering to all 15 schools in the district.
The clothing and shoes, with an estimated retail value of approximately $300, serve as valuable resources to ensure that students in the district have access to appropriate attire. The donated items are made available to students in need, helping to alleviate barriers to their education.
This act of kindness is not an isolated occurrence; Factory Connection made a similar donation back in August, also with a retail value of around $300. Such ongoing support from Factory Connection, led by Manager Stacie Bennett, Kathy Sherer, and Nancy Berry, reinforces their commitment to the local community.
Jenny Jones and Christy Childers, representing the Carter County Schools Family Resource Center, expressed their gratitude for the continued support from Factory Connection. This collaboration stands as a testament to the power of community partnerships in ensuring that the educational needs of students are met.
