In anticipation of unfavorable weather conditions, local high school football games in Carter County have been rescheduled to Thursday night from their original Friday night slots. The decision was made to ensure the safety and enjoyment of players and fans. Kickoff times for the rescheduled games will remain the same.
The following matchups have been affected by the weather-related rescheduling:
- Happy Valley at North Greene
- Unaka at Hampton
- Cloudland High School at R-S Central in Rutherford, NC
