Elizabethton’s Covered Bridge Jams Concert Series is set to host the acclaimed Lost Creek Bluegrass Band this Saturday. The band, founded in the 1970s by two cousins, has made a remarkable journey across the world, sharing their music with diverse audiences. Its members include Ed Stiner (guitar/vocals), Rick Fielden (mandolin/fiddle), Phil Clear (percussion/vocals), Rick Flynn (banjo/dobro), and Tim Carpenter (bass/vocals). They eagerly anticipate performing in Elizabethton.

Lost Creek Bluegrass Band boasts an impressive musical catalog, with seven albums under their belt. Notably, four of their albums have earned the prestigious Album of the Year award from the North America Country Music Association. Their musical prowess has taken them on two cruise voyages and allowed them to share the stage with legendary musicians such as Paul Williams, Doyle Lawson, Jim and Jessie McReynolds, The Osborne Brothers, Quicksilver, Kentucky Thunder, and many others. Now, they’re thrilled to add Covered Bridge Jams to their list of accomplishments.

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation, along with its sponsors—the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, Carter County Tourism, Northeast Community Credit Union, Carter County Parks & Recreation Board, Elizabethton Star, Eastman Credit Union, and WBEJ Radio—are proud to present this free concert series to the community.
