Carter County Sheriff’s Department makes multiple arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

On October 20, 2023, around 12:27 AM, Deputy Jared Shelton and Deputy Z. Whaley responded to a request for an officer at Hughes Hollow Road regarding Ms. Jill Elizabeth Tucker’s messages and calls to the victim. Ms. Tucker was released on an OR Bond with a no-contact order, except for child custody arrangements. Ms. Tucker’s messages violated the no-contact order. She was taken into custody and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 20, 2023, Deputy Storm Scalf executed an arrest warrant for Johnny L. Huffman, charging him with Violation of Community Corrections. In addition, Mr. Huffman faced additional charges, including Prohibited Weapons and Resisting Arrest, based on the situation.
On October 18, 2023, around 10:22 PM, Deputy Zachary Whaley arrested Mr. Michael Jason Davis at Pleasant Beach Rd. on a Violation of Probation warrant. Mr. Davis was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
On October 18, 2023, Sgt. Dennis Brown and Officer J. Guzman of the Johnson City Police Department served a violation of probation warrant on Mr. Justin Levi Allen. Allen was transported to the jail without incident.
On October 18, 2023, Deputy Dalton McCloud and Deputy Thomas Hill responded to a trespassing report on Pfeiffer Ridge Road. Brittany M. Goan, with a suspended license, was found removing personal items from the property. She was initially cited for driving without insurance but later charged with Disorderly Conduct, Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License Suspended, and Financial Responsibility. Ms. Goan was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 17, 2023, Deputy Philip Tremblay arrested Mr. Lawrence Gbellay Musa Jr. at the CCSO for a violation of probation warrant. He was transported to booking without incident.
On October 17, 2023, Lt. Johnathan Blevins met with Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at Butler Bridge to serve a Failure to Appear warrant on Mr. Steven Allen Ray Dowell. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 17, 2023, Lt. Johnathan Blevins met with Johnson City Police Department at Sinking Creek Baptist Church to serve a warrant on Ms. Tamara Megan Mckeehan. She had a no-bond warrant for Failure to Appear and was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, Deputy Donovan Bemiller picked up Chad Nicholas Cole from Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office for warrants from Carter County Criminal Court. Cole was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 17, 2023, Deputy Jerry Dykes served an arrest warrant on Michael Dylan Tolbert for Violation of Probation
On October 16, 2023, Deputy Christian Carrier responded to an intoxicated, armed male driving onto a property on Charlie Harrell Ln. The driver, Shane Ray Simerly, failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI 2nd offense, Violation of Implied Consent, and Possession of a legend drug without a prescription.
On October 16, 2023, Lt. Johnathan Blevins met with Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at Butler Bridge to serve a Violation of Probation warrant on Mr. Nicklous James Greene. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 16, 2023, Lt. Christopher Peek took custody of Caleb Dakota Wilcox on a Violation of Probation warrant and transported him to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 15, 2023, Deputy Christian Carrier responded to a reported burglary and assault on Highway 143. An intrusion was reported on Chancelor Sha Patric Presnell, resulting in an altercation. Presnell was arrested for Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Assault, and Domestic Assault.
On October 15, 2023, Lt. Christopher Peek took custody of Janet H Darne Eddy on a Violation of Probation warrant and transported her to the Carter County Detention Center.
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, Deputy Donovan Bemiller responded to a domestic incident at First Apostolic Church parking lot. Cortnee M. Odom was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
On October 15, 2023, Deputy Christian Carrier arrested Ryan Phillip Anderson on a Violation of Probation warrant.
On October 14, 2023, Lt. Christopher Peek and Sgt. Justin Johnson served a warrant on Sylvia Louise Reece, arresting her and transporting her to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 13, 2023, Sgt. Justin Johnson responded to Siam Road for a domestic disturbance and arrested Gerron Dewitt Chekelelee for Domestic Assault.
On October 13, 2023, Sgt. Christopher Peek arrested Ilda A. Perna on a warrant for Domestic Violence during a traffic stop on Wilbur Dam Road.
On October 12, 2023, Deputy Dalton Taylor arrested Joseph Edward Coffman during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant. Coffman was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 12, 2023, Deputy Thomas Hill arrested James Daniel Balding for Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault, and False Imprisonment.
On October 12, 2023, Sgt. Robert Scott served an arrest warrant on Christopher Michael McClain in the Carter County Detention Center.
On October 12, 2023, Lt. Johnathan Blevins served an arrest warrant on David Charles White for Failure to Appear in Carter County General Sessions Court.
On October 11, 2023, Lt. Christopher Reichenbach responded to a domestic incident involving two females in a moving vehicle. Dawn Clarice Wilson was arrested for DUI 1st Offense.
On October 11, 2023, Deputy Storm Scalf arrested Karen Faye Smith for Public Intoxication.
On October 10, 2023, Deputy Jared Shelton served an arrest warrant on Autumn Lace Williams for Aggravated Assault.
