The Carter County Health Department, in collaboration with the Carter County School System and the Elizabethton City School System, will be hosting a free drive-through flu vaccination event, known as “Flu-Thru.” This event is designed to provide convenient access to flu vaccinations for students and their family members. No pre-registration is required for participation.
Participants are encouraged to stay in their vehicles throughout the vaccination process, ensuring a safe and efficient experience. However, it’s important to note that individuals aged 0-17 must have a legal guardian present during the vaccination process.

Event Details:
Location: Hampton High School Parking Lot
Date: November 2
Time: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
For those unable to attend on November 2, a second opportunity will be available:
Location: Elizabethton High School Parking Lot
Date: November 7
Time: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

In addition to these drive-through events, the Carter County Health Department will also host its annual “Fight Flu TN” event on November 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Elizabethton High School parking lot. All three events are free of charge and open to the public.
For any inquiries or further information, the Carter County Health Department can be reached at 403 East G Street, or via phone at (423) 543-2521.
This initiative aims to enhance access to flu vaccinations for students and their families, ultimately contributing to the well-being and health of the community.
