Elizabethton Police make multiple arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:
On Thursday, Oct. 19, Officer Ryan Manuel arrested Jaqueshia Monsha Williams at Bluefield Avenue Redi Mart. She had an active warrant for violation of probation from Carter County Criminal Court. Williams was taken to Carter County Detention Center without incident.
On Sunday, Oct. 22, Officer Justin Pearce arrested Fredrick J. Olds at 920 Broad Street (Food City) for suspected impairment. Olds exhibited signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest.
On Sunday, Oct. 22, Officer Spencer Ward responded to a hit-and-run at 1204 Broad St. He located the suspect’s vehicle, a white Ford Focus, which had damage to the driver’s side. Ruby F. Corona, the driver, was arrested for DUI and other charges.
On Sunday, Oct. 22, Officer Rocky Croy arrested Timothy Lee Shelton for an active warrant for failure to appear. The arrest was made after Shelton was found with a stolen Tennessee license plate.
On Monday, Oct. 23, Officer Rocky Croy responded to a report of a possible intoxicated female, Karen Faye Smith, on South Lynn Ave. Smith was arrested for p;ublic intoxication due to her high level of intoxication and disruptive behavior.
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw arrested Zachary Ryan Bratton at the Probation Office (419 West Elk Ave.) for an active warrant. Bratton was transported to jail without incident.
Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
