Carter County Youth Basketball League tips off season with jamboree

The Carter County Youth Basketball League (CCYBL) launched its much-anticipated season on Saturday with an energetic Jamboree featuring 28 games and 53 participating teams. The action-packed event unfolded across the courts of Eastside, Hunter, Hampton, and Unaka schools.

The CCYBL, a robust league consisting of 56 teams (excluding cheerleading squads), boasts a diverse representation from Central, Hunter, Unaka, Valley Forge, Hampton, Little Milligan, Elizabethton, and Cloudland. The Jamboree marked the beginning of what promises to be an exciting season of youth basketball in Carter County.
