The Elizabethton Police Department has issued a plea for public assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a shoplifting incident at East Side Liquor and Wine on Tuesday evening around 8:08 pm.

The department’s Criminal Investigations division, headed by Kendra Fields, is leading the inquiry. Individuals with any information pertinent to the case are encouraged to contact Kendra Fields at kfields@elizabethtonpolice.org or reach out via phone at 423-547-6250.

Additionally, individuals can submit anonymous tips via text message by texting ‘TIPEPD’ followed by their tip to 847411.
