After an intensive search following the Nov. 6, 2023, robbery at Truist Bank on 1806 W. Market St., authorities have successfully apprehended the suspect.

Brent Anthony Holland was arrested at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, in Baxter, Tn. Law enforcement officers from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service conducted the arrest, which occurred without incident. Holland is currently being held at the Putnam County Detention Center.

Holland is charged with robbery and theft under $1,000 in Johnson City. He is additionally implicated in three other robbery cases across various jurisdictions.
