Elizabethton Police seek help identifying burglary suspect

The Elizabethton Police Department (EPD) has issued a plea for public assistance in identifying an individual linked to a recent burglary at the RSM Super Thrift Store on 1932 West Elk Avenue. The incident, which occurred at approximately 2:28 am on Wednesday, November 16th, 2023, prompted the EPD’s urgent call for information.
Authorities released a surveillance image of the person of interest believed to be involved in the burglary. The EPD has requested anyone with relevant information about the individual pictured to come forward.

Additionally, the department has provided an alternative method for submitting tips anonymously. Citizens can text “TIPEPD” followed by their tip to 847411, allowing for discreet communication while aiding the investigation.
The EPD encourages community members with any pertinent details or insights into the identity of the individual in the surveillance image to come forward promptly to assist in resolving this case.
