The Elizabethton Parks & Recreation stage held a wealth of beauty and grace Nov. 18 when numerous little Christmas queens were crowned during the Miss Elizabethton Christmas Queen Pageant.

The pageant benefited the local Toys for Tots and Maui, Hawaii, fire victims.

“I was thrilled to direct the inaugural ‘Miss Elizabethton Christmas Queen’ Charity Pageant,'” said the director, Amy Simmons, who currently holds the “World’s Classic Ms. Tourism 2024” title. “With this special holiday pageant, we wanted to not only help our community locally, but help fellow Americans across the ocean. From our mountains to their island, we send our prayers.”
