Johnson City Police arrest Anthony L. Lyles on multiple charges

On December 7, officers from the Johnson City Police Department apprehended Anthony L. Lyles, 25, a resident of Johnson City, charging him with false imprisonment, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and interference with emergency calls.
The arrest followed a response to a domestic disturbance at 6:20 p.m. on the same date. During the incident, a woman reported a heated argument with Lyles, during which he allegedly threatened her by holding a kitchen knife to her neck. Additionally, she claimed that Lyles confiscated her phone and prevented her from leaving the premises.
Upon police intervention and a brief altercation, law enforcement successfully detained Lyles. Subsequently, he was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where a bond of $53,000 was set in relation to the charges.
