FROM STAFF REPORTS
Elizabethton City Schools’ Nutrition Program is set to roll out the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), an initiative applicable to schools engaged in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Programs.
Every student enrolled in Elizabethton City Schools qualifies to receive nutritious breakfasts and lunches throughout the school year, completely FREE of charge. Your children can partake in this meal program without any payment or the necessity of submitting a meal application.
Our implementation of CEP is a pilot program slated to commence on January 8, 2024, continuing through the second semester, contingent upon student participation. We’re optimistic about the program’s success and aspire to extend it into the 2024-2025 academic year. Students who currently maintain account balances are still responsible for settling these amounts in full.
While RevTrack remains available for students to purchase a la carte items, we urge you to update your RevTrack accounts if there are any automatic transactions scheduled. For any queries or concerns, please reach out to the cafeteria manager at your child’s respective school.
