Johnson City Police arrest Vanhorn on aggravated assault charges

On December 27, Johnson City Police detained Hunter Vanhorn, 25, of Johnson City, charging him with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of felony vandalism.
The arrest follows an incident on December 25 around 5:15 p.m. at Lakewood Apartments. Authorities responded to a hit-and-run crash and discovered Vanhorn allegedly intentionally struck an individual with a vehicle. Prior to the collision, Vanhorn purportedly threatened the person with brass knuckles. Additionally, another vehicle sustained damage during the episode.
Vanhorn was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
