JOHNSON CITY – On January 10, the Johnson City Police Department apprehended Aiden Debord, 21, a resident of Johnson City, charging him with one count of aggravated assault.
The arrest is in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on January 8 on Van Brocklin Way. Johnson City Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired and discovered a male victim with a single gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
The investigation, supported by security camera footage capturing the incident, led authorities to identify Aiden Debord as a suspect.
Following his arrest, Debord was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. The Johnson City Police Department continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident.
