The Elizabethton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest associated with an attempt to use a business account for the purchase of a tool kit on December 13, 2023, around 8:30 a.m. at Lowes. The department encourages individuals with relevant information to contact David Peters via email at dpeters@elizabethtonpolice.org or by phone at 423-547-6225. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via text message by texting TIPEPD followed by the tip to 847411. Authorities appreciate any credible tips or assistance provided by the community in this matter.
