On January 26, Johnson City Police Department investigators arrested Mitchell Dudek, 26, of Johnson City, charging him with statutory rape.
The arrest followed JCPD’s collaboration with the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) regarding an anonymous complaint alleging a sexual relationship between Dudek and a juvenile. Subsequent to several interviews and an extensive investigation, Dudek was taken into custody and transferred to the Washington County Detention Center.
