Multiple arrests reported by Carter County Sheriff’s Office

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:
On January 5, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw responded to Swimming Pool Road for a warrant service. Jesse Lynn Scalf was taken into custody on active arrest warrants for violation of probation and failure to appear. During the arrest, clonazepam and methamphetamine were found on Scalf’s person, leading to additional charges. Scalf was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On January 6, authorities went to Gilbert Wilson Road to arrest Adam Lee Hannan for multiple warrants, including driving while revoked and felony evading. Hannan attempted to evade arrest by hiding under a trailer and resisting authorities, resulting in physical confrontation. He was eventually apprehended and taken to the Carter County Detention Center.
Deputies conducted a warrant service at 505 W. Elk Ave. (Travelers Inn, Room 223) on January 9, and arrested Miranda Venia Lovelace for contempt of Juvenile Court. Lovelace was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
On January 9, Maddox Jake Arnett turned himself in at the Carter County Sheriff’s Office for an active violation of probation warrant. He was taken into custody without incident.
On January 10, deputies served two active violation of probation warrants on Alexis Breana Thompson at her residence in Johnson City. She was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
On January 10, Deputy Jeff Winters took Charles Watson into custody on an attachment for failure to appear out of Juvenile Court at Elizabethton.
On January 10, Christopher Frank Ray Jr. was arrested for failure to appear out of Carter County General Sessions Court and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On January 10, Michael Joe Woodby was arrested for disorderly conduct at Wayne and Nancy’s Kitchen. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On January 12, Jody Pink Shuffler was arrested at the Jonesborough Flea Market for multiple charges, including theft of property and burglary. He was taken to the Carter County Detention Center.
On January 12, Jeremy Michael Hatley was arrested by the Johnson City Police Department for violation of probation and transferred to the Carter County Detention Center.
Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
