Johnson City man arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools

On February 14, Johnson City Police Department officers apprehended Joshua Hoffman, 34, of Johnson City, charging him with one count of burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools.
The arrest followed officers’ response to a burglary in progress reported at a business on West Main Street around 12:40 a.m. Upon arrival, officers observed a man resembling the suspect leaving a nearby residence. The individual, identified as Hoffman, was found in possession of tools commonly associated with burglaries and auto parts theft.
Hoffman was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
