The Elizabethton Police Department is issuing a community notification regarding anticipated traffic congestion in the downtown and Stateline area this Sunday around 2 p.m. for the Happy Tails 5k event. While roads will not be closed, residents and drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution due to the expected increase in pedestrian activity.

Police officers will be present to provide assistance and ensure traffic flows as smoothly as possible during the event.
