KINGSPORT – The 2nd Annual Blue Ridge Artisan Days: A Crafters Spring Fling is just around the corner, promising an exciting array of local talent and handmade crafts. Scheduled for March 23 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kingsport Civic Auditorium located at 1550 Fort Henry Drive, this event is free to the public and welcomes all enthusiasts of artisanal crafts.

With over 50 local artisans and small businesses in attendance, guests can expect a diverse showcase of craftsmanship, including woodworking, crochet, painting, leatherwork, jewelry, and more. The event also features a selection of food trucks, adding to the festive ambiance and offering delicious treats to attendees.

What sets the Blue Ridge Artisan Days apart is its commitment to supporting the community. A portion of the proceeds from the event goes to a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing artisan-style crafts to children and youth in the area. The Young Artisan Club, supported by this initiative, provides young individuals with the opportunity to explore their creative talents and discover the possibilities of craftsmanship. This year, children will have the chance to engage in candle making, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
