Carter County Sheriff’s Office reports recent arrests

 The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office: 

  • On March 8, Lt. Justin Burchfield met with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office at Bunker Hill Road and Highway 19E to pick up Shannon Leigh Holsclaw, who had an active warrant for violation of probation. Holsclaw was arrested and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 8, Deputy Storm Scalf responded to Dugger Street for a warrant service. Lathena Lyn Birchfield was arrested for an active warrant for violation of probation with a $25,000 bond. She was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 7, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw responded to Highway 19E for trespassing. Michael Dale Whitehead Jr., previously trespassed, was found on the property again and was arrested for criminal trespassing. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 7, Lt. Johnathan Blevins met with Johnson City Police Department at Sinking Creek Baptist Church for a warrant service. Emily Lynne Moore was arrested for violation of probation with a $25,000 bond. She was transported to Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 7, Deputy Philip Tremblay responded to Towneview Estates for a disorderly person. Michael Gordon Vest was witnessed in the street, attempting to pull up his pants, exposing himself to neighbors. Deputy Tremblay ordered Vest to comply, but he resisted arrest, leading to a physical altercation. After multiple warnings, Deputy Tremblay used a Taser to gain control and handcuff Vest. He was transported to Carter County Detention Center without further incident. Vest faces charges of indecent exposure, trespassing, and resisting arrest.
  • On March 7, Lt. Justin Burchfield met with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Elizabethton Highway to pick up Robert H. Rose. Rose had an active warrant for violation of probation from the Carter County General Sessions Court. He was arrested and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 6, Brian Lee Showe turned himself in to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office on an active warrant for failure to appear. He was arrested and taken to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 6, Deputy Jeff Winters was dispatched to the Franklin County, Tenn. Jail to take into custody Eric Shawn Crafton for violation of probation warrant. He was transported to The Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 6, Lt. Justin Burchfield met with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at the Butler Bridge to pick up Rebecca Danielle Hayworth, who had an active warrant for violation of probation. Hayworth was arrested and transported to the Carter County General Sessions Court without incident.
  • On March 5, Lt. Johnathan Blevins met with Johnson City Police Department at Sinking Creek Baptist Church for a warrant service. Nathan Paul Oliver was found to have an active warrant for failure to appear with $250 cash bond. Oliver was taken into custody and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 4, Lt. Christopher Peek met with Johnson City Police Department Officers at Sinking Creek Baptist Church for a warrant service. Andrew Jackson Runnion Jr. was arrested for violation of probation and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 3, Lt. Christopher Peek met with Tennessee Highway Patrol State Troopers at 2680 Highway 19E for a warrant service. Robert Conrad Perry was taken into custody for violation of probation out of Carter County General Sessions Court and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 2, Deputy Philip Tremblay responded to 411 Garland Branch Road for a suspicious person. Kenneth Fred Higgins was found to have an outstanding warrant for driving on revoked license. He was placed in custody and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 2, Lt. Christopher Peek met with Tennessee Highway Patrol at Steamplant Road for a warrant service. Joseph Paul Fletcher was arrested for violation of probation out of Carter County General Sessions Court and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 1, Lt. Justin Burchfield met with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office at Highway 19E and Bunker Hill Road to pick up Joseph Hammett and Ronald Cannell. Both had active warrants for violation of probation and were transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On March 1, Lt. Justin Burchfield met with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 2313 Elizabethton Highway to pick up William Ramsey. Ramsey had an active warrant for violation of probation and was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
