A Johnson City man, Charles Thomas, 50, was arrested by officers of the Johnson City Police Department on March 12 and charged with burglary, theft over $1,000, and vandalism over $1,000.

The arrest follows an investigation initiated on Feb. 25 into a burglary at 3608 Bristol Highway, the location of Kia of Johnson City. Police discovered signs of forced entry and discovered that multiple secure storage areas had been accessed, with money reported stolen from the business.

Evidence linking Thomas to the burglary was found in his possession at his residence.
