JOHNSON CITY – Lyndie Ramsey, a former standout player at Unaka High School and member of the ETSU women’s basketball team, has officially entered her name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Ramsey’s decision to enter the transfer portal comes after a remarkable high school basketball career, culminating in February when the Unaka Rangers retired her number 10 jersey. Throughout her high school tenure, Ramsey amassed an impressive 2,902 points, solidifying her status as one of the region’s top basketball talents.

In December, Ramsey made her mark in collegiate basketball by contributing five points in a victory against Lees-McRae. Despite appearing in only two games for ETSU, Ramsey showcased her scoring ability, notably sinking a 3-pointer from four feet behind the arc at the 5:07 mark of the final period.
