Carter County Sheriff’s Office reports recent arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

On March 31, Deputy Justin Ludlow, in collaboration with the Johnson City Police Department, apprehended James Thomas Hagan for violation of probation. Hagan was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On March 31, Sgt. Justin Johnson responded to Old Lewis Road for an assault case involving Laycee D. Jenkins. After investigation, Jenkins was found to be the primary aggressor and was charged with aggravated domestic assault.
On March 30, Lt. Christopher Peek facilitated the arrest of Lorie Kay Hayes on an attachment for failure to appear at Wiseman’s in coordination with the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 30, Deputy Brett Butler arrested Charles David Price for violation of probation and false reporting after observing him near Highway 19E and Highway 321.
On March 30, Cpl. Cody Perkins charged Brandon Keith Ollis with fugitive from justice for crime in another state after confirming an extradition warrant from McDowell County, N.C.
On March 29, Cpl. Cody Perkins responded to a fire alarm at the facility. During the investigation, inmate Steven Schultz was charged with vandalism and served the arrest warrant in the Carter County Detention Center.
On March 28, Deputy D. McCloud responded to a vehicle driving the wrong way on Highway 19E and Highway 321, leading to the arrest of Alan Dean Pearson for driving under the influence and possession of suboxone.
On March 26, Captain D. Kneaskern, Sgt. C. Carrier, and Deputy D. McCloud apprehended Ashley Nicole Ledbetter for violation of probation warrants at Bob Little Road.
On March 26, Deputy Justin Ludlow picked up Justin Brent Shell for violation of probation and theft of property warrants.
On March 24, Deputy Zachary Whaley arrested Izabella Shea Pitcock at the Carter County Detention Center for a failure to appear warrant.
On March 24, Deputy J. Shelton charged Johnathan Derek Harding with aggravated assault (domestic) after responding to a domestic assault.
On March 24, Deputy Jared Shelton arrested Tiffani M. Holston for possession of methamphetamine and other drug violations.
On March 24, Deputy Matthew Lyle arrested Robert Michael Taylor for violation of an order of p-rotection.
On March 24, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw arrested Austin M. Bentley for underage driving while impaired and other charges after observing him driving erratically on Highway 19E.
On March 23, Deputy Storm Scalf arrested Brooklyn Sue Collins for an active capias/bench warrant at the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 23, Deputy Justin Ludlow arrested Clinton Lee McKinney for violation of probation at Tiger Creek Road.
On March 23, Deputy Justin Ludlow arrested John David Lones for failure to appear at 2313 Elizabethton Highway in coordination with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
