JOHNSON CITY — Raymond Fox, 65, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault following an altercation, according to authorities.

Johnson City Police Department officers responded to a report of an argument at 103 S. Roan St. around 3 p.m. on March 30. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Fox had allegedly threatened another individual with what he claimed to be a firearm during the dispute.

Subsequent investigation by law enforcement determined that the weapon in question was not a real firearm.

Fox was apprehended at the scene by officers and subsequently transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
