Downtown Elizabethton is gearing up for a series of vibrant community events with the return of First Fridays this summer.
On the first Friday of each month in May, June, July, and August, the streets of Downtown Elizabethton will be transformed into a hub of activity, inviting residents and visitors alike to join in on the fun.
Each month will feature a unique theme:
- May 3: Summer Vibes
- June 7: Artsy Vibes
- July 5: Adventure Vibes
- August 2: Hometown Vibes
Participants can expect a diverse range of activities and entertainment, including live music, art demonstrations, outdoor recreation showcases, and family-friendly fun.
An interactive BINGO card will guide participants through each month, featuring participating businesses and activities, a map of First Friday Zones, and opportunities to win prizes.
Local boutiques, vintage shops, and art-centric spaces will offer elevated shopping experiences, while downtown establishments and the Mobile Food Zone on Armed Forces Drive will provide delicious food and drinks.
The Fun Zone, sponsored by Citizens Bank, will host a variety of complimentary activities for families, and the Community Zone in the 400 Block Breezeway will showcase non-profits and community organizations.
First Fridays is presented by Main Street Elizabethton, Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library, and Carter County Tourism.
