As part of Covered Bridge Jams, a special Bluegrass event called the “Covered Bridge Bluegrass Jamboree” will take place on June 15, starting at noon. The event will feature award-winning acts, including Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers and Authentic Unlimited.

The Independence Day Celebration on July 4 will feature SPANK THE 80’s as the musical guest, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

On August 24, Covered Bridge Jams will present “Rockin’ on the Doe,” featuring the music of “On The Border” – The Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band.

“We are extremely excited about this year’s concert series and hope that citizens in this community and those in our surrounding areas will come out and enjoy some great music in a beautiful park setting,” Nanney added. “Covered Bridge Jams is a special event that showcases local, regional, and nationally known musicians and the beauty of our historic park and downtown Elizabethton.”

All Covered Bridge Jams concerts are free to the public. Food trucks will be available at each show.

“The Elizabethton Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to present our 10th season of Covered Bridge Jams and hope families will come out and enjoy the music and atmosphere,” Nanney stated.
