KateLynn Simerly commits to Emory and Henry Cheer Team

On Friday, May 3, KateLynn Simerly solidified her commitment to cheer for the Emory and Henry Wasps by signing her National Letter of Intent. Simerly, who has been a dedicated member of the Cloudland cheerleading squad for the past six years, embarks on this new journey with enthusiasm and determination.
Joining Simerly for her signing ceremony were her parents, Sheila and Jason Simerly, her sister Hailey Simerly, her aunt Brooke Brock, Assistant Principal Matt Birchfield, Principal Amy Horney, and cheer coach Aleta Morgan. Also present were Simerly’s friends from both the cheer and softball teams, demonstrating the support and camaraderie she has fostered throughout her high school career.
Simerly’s dedication and talent have earned her this opportunity to continue her cheerleading journey at the collegiate level, and her signing represents a significant milestone in her athletic pursuits.
