River Dog Adventures, a premier full-service outdoor adventure outfitter nestled in Elizabethton, will mark the commencement of their first season with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 18, at 11 a.m. Situated at 125 Iodent Way, the entire community is invited to partake in the festivities and explore the array of adventure opportunities available to both locals and visitors alike.
Boasting guided whitewater rafting, fishing trips, tubing excursions, and fall foliage tours, River Dog Adventures promises something for everyone seeking an adrenaline-fueled escapade. Committed to fostering a deep connection between individuals and nature, the River Dog team comprises passionate nature enthusiasts and staunch conservationists. A portion of all proceeds is pledged to the American Whitewater Conservation program, dedicated to the restoration and preservation of America’s pristine rivers.
“The Watauga River offers some of the most breathtaking landscapes in East Tennessee, and we are thrilled to share that beauty with our community,” remarked Jake Oliver, Co-owner of River Dog Adventures.
Joy McCray, Executive Director of the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, expressed excitement about the new addition to the community, stating, “It’s always exciting to welcome new members to our community, and this one brings us a great opportunity to showcase the beautiful outdoors that we all know and love.
