The Watauga Junior Athletic League (WJAL) youth football teams were in full swing on Saturday, with 20 games played across five locations in East Tennessee. The action spread from Bristol to South Greene, Johnson County, Unaka, and Boone, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of young athletes.
Star correspondent Brandon Hyde captured the excitement at Lynn Goddard Field, where the Cloudland Grasscutters faced off against the Happy Valley Grasscutters. Meanwhile, Ciara Laws was on hand in Bristol to cover the clash between the Cyclones Grasscutters Orange and the Vikings Grasscutters.
