Chandra Lee Frazier Calhoun

Chandra Lee Frazier Calhoun, 43, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, in Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. She was a Carter County native. Chandra was a graduate of Unaka High School and East Tennessee State University. She received a master’s degree in business administration from King College. She was a registered nurse with Mountain States. She was a member of the Stoney Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Lillian Wilson and Ray and Mary Frazier.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Calhoun: two daughters, Gabrielle Taylor and Madison Calhoun, both of Elizabethton; two sons, Phillip Taylor and Bryson Calhoun, both of Elizabethton; a stepson, Dustin Calhoun; her parents, Tony and Cathy Wilson Frazier, Elizabethton; a brother, Aaron Frazier, and his wife Greta, Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in the Blevins Cemetery. Active pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday will be: Jeff Farmer, Chuck Milam, Wade Calhoun, L.D. Vance, Travis Frazier and John Corder. Honorary pallbearers will be: the Rev. Richard Estep, Dr. Gerald Falaska, Dr. Sherrill Pack, Angie Collins, Heather McKinney and her aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of her parents, Tony and Cathy Frazier, Elizabethton.
