Jr. Cyclones aim to build on last year’s 6-4 mark

Winning the bottom bracket of its conference last season with a 6-4 mark showed how competitive the T.A. Dugger Junior Cyclones were last season. This season the hope is that some returning players can help get them over the hump and into the top of the conference in 2014-15.

“I have two returning starters that I am counting on a lot,” said head coach Johnny Burleson. “Corey Russell and Garrett Jennings are two kids that both started last year and will again. Russell is a quarterback and defensive back and Jennings is an offensive and defensive lineman.”
