Ida Lee Autry Kelly Ellis

Mrs. Ida Lee Autry Kelly Ellis, 96, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
Mrs. Ellis was born in Yancey County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Arrowood Autrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, J.V. Kelly, and her second husband, W.R. Ellis; a daughter, Judith Smith; sisters, Francis Edwards, Sue Busby, Loretta Proffitt, Peggy Hardin and Betty Jo Autry; and one brother, E.B. Autry.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethton. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed her flower gardens.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Kelly, Hastings, Neb.; grandchildren, Kim Elniff (Chris), Becky Lyons, Joy Hughes (John) and James Kelly; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Polly Leonard; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the staff of Life Care Center of Elizabethton for their wonderful care.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ellis will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Wishon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
