JOHNSON CITY — The injury bug bit the Lady Bucs on Wednesday night against Appalachian State and they weren’t able to shake its venom — dropping a 76-70 contest inside Brooks Gym.

However, despite being down three players at one point, the Lady Bucs were still in control until a 12-2 run with under six minutes left gave the Lady Mountaineers a 71-61 lead and they never looked back.

ETSU would get as close as 67-72 with 41.2 seconds left before free throws during garbage time expanded the lead.
