As it was the play of Jalen Riley and Rashawn Rembert that propelled the Bucs to their first Southern Conference win in almost a decade as they defeated Western Carolina 96-89 in front of 4,287 fans at Freedom Hall.

Riley delivered eight of the final 13 points for the Bucs, finishing the night with 31 points, while his fellow senior Rembert finished the night with 22 points.
