T.A. Dugger has its way with Happy Valley

A strong defensive close was punctuated with timely offense.

Five runs over the final two frames aided four scoreless defensive innings as T.A. Dugger rallied for a 9-3 non-conference win over county rival Happy Valley Wednesday at Whitehead Field.

The Jr. Cyclones, which led 3-2 at the end of the second inning, retired 15 out of 16 Happy Valley batters over a five-inning slate by virtue of two double plays mixed with strong defense in the field. By the time the Jr. Warrior offense found another gear, it was too late.
